Front Introduction

Mohan Lal Jain (Mohan Bhaiya) Govt. College Khursipar, Bhilai, Durg C.G.  (formerly named as Govt. Naveen College, Khursipar, Bhilai) is affiliated to Hemchand Yadav University Durg. The College had humbled start with UG Courses in 2014. The College offers UG and PG Course in Science. Arts and Commerce streams, Equipped with 12 teaching department including 05 PG departments. At present the college is functioning in an old building of Bhilai Steel Plant school on Rental basis. The foundation stone of college building was laid by Hon. Minister of Chhattisgarh Government.



This College is Keeping Pace with Challenging need of the day, the college has undergone major Paradigm shift in terms of pedagogical methodology from conventional ways of teaching to ICT enabled teaching. It has Successively established smart classroom provided with Wi-Fi Connectivity with Library facilities to encourage effective teaching and learning
The College is trying in moving forward with a view to come out as an institution of the future that prepares the students equipped with knowledge, aptitude, skill and social Commitment.
  MLJ Govt. College earlier known as Govt. Naveen College, Khursipar is located in Crowded area of Bhilai. It is a co-educational college catering to the local population of the Industrial town. The college was established on 03/07/2014, with a vision to provide educational opportunities for the hundreds of students of the surrounding area. The journey of the college marked a humble beginning with six rooms in old building of Bhilai Steel Plant School. Initially it had subjects to offer in graduation. The beginning was full of turmoil & hardship. Students, few in number were mainly from low income bracket groups and marginalized section of the society. The devotion of small group fo teacher who went a serving the cause of education & Social responsibilities eventually put the college in the present Scenario.
           At present the college has Arts, Science & Commerce for UG & PG Courses. Now approx 700 (686) students are enrolled in the institute in quest of full filling their dreams for higher education.
